On behalf of DBS, Chad Hastings, Branch Manager, and Jason Blusk, Director of Business Development, would like to thank Maryland Senator Mathias’ office and Worcester County School District Administration for attending the Community Partnership Kick-Off for Stephen Decatur High School, Worcester County Public Schools and DBS on Wednesday, January 30th 2013. The Kickoff was exciting and important to our community. We are committed to working together and proud to be a strong partner. Having representation from Senator Mathias’ office was awesome and his personalized letters to the students and DBS was a great touch. We are excited that this program has kicked off in our Bishopville office and we look forward to seeing the students develop. Stay tuned for a year end celebration in May that will showcase what the interns learned this semester. Sara Meyers that was at the Kickoff on behalf of Senator Mathias said that she will look to get the Senator as well as the Governor to this great event so that they can see our partnership in action and most importantly, showcase the importance of Education paired with Community Involvement.
Fourteen students from The Culinary School (TCS) at the Food Bank of Delaware stepped out of our training kitchen yesterday and into Delaware Business Systems’ (DBS) training center for hands-on instruction in the latest restaurant point-of-sale technology.
