Point of Sale Biometrics! (Fingerprint Logins)

With the elimination of passwords and swipe cards, fingerprint authentication makes each server accountable for his or her own clock-in time, tables and transactions.

Restaurant terminals can now recognize servers by who they are (fingerprint), rather than what they know (password), or what they have (swipe card). Passwords are often forgotten or potentially copied by other employees while magnetic stripe cards are expensive to replace. Fingerprint authentication technology will mitigate the substantial monetary losses restaurant owners have suffered due to abuse of passwords and swipe cards.
