The initial purchasing fee for any DVR is
higher than the traditional VHS system. However, maintenance costs are
lower in the long term. Our DVR does not need any VHS tape to back it
up; instead it uses a hard drive that has the capacity to record video
for many months. Or depending on the customer’s needs, it can record for
up to a year. Users enjoy clearer and crisper pictures because it
records digitally. The system can record up to 120 frames per second for
four cameras. This means that each camera can view back at 30
frame/second, live on 4 cameras. The system allows users to digitalize
the picture by zooming in and enlarging the picture for better
investigation. There are also other tools that will aid users to improve their research and save time. Our DVR can act as an alarm panel by sending out pictures over a phone line or static IP whenever an alarm event occurs. This can be integrated with the alarm panel and consequently, reduces faulty alarm events. The monitoring station can connect into the user’s DVR and immediately confirm if there is a suspect on the premise. Mostly users can also view their premises from anywhere with a connection to a phone line or the Internet. |
