Do I need to put a new tape in the machine every day? | |||||

ANSWER |
No, there is nothing to change! The system is digital, and everything is recorded to a hard drive in the recorder. | ||||||

QUESTION |
I had an incident at my establishment and I want to make a copy of it. How do I do that? | |||||
|
ANSWER |
You can backup an image or the entire incident to a cd. Go to the Search page and select the BACKUP option (it looks like a floppy disk.) Select AVI Backup on the top row, and then enter your start and stop time/date on the left. Next hit SELECT MEDIA. On the pull-down list on the left, select your CD drive and hit OK. Then check off the camera you wish to backup and hit OK. Your are now backing up the incident. |

My Available Hard Drive space is reading Zero. Is this a problem? | |||||

ANSWER |
No, it is not. This means that you are now recording over the oldest footage. There is no need to change any tapes or drives. | ||||||

Can I adjust the sensitivity to trip the automatic recording on a certain camera? |

ANSWER |
Yes, you can adjust how sensitive each camera is to movement. Click on the Setup option, and then the Motion tab. Click on the camera number you wish to adjust, then move the sensitivity slider to be more or less sensitive in the designated recording area. | ||||||

I have a text inserter, and the date and time are off. How do I correct this? |
